Research Intern - Australian Centre for Field Robotics
Nov 2020 - Feb 2021 Worked on the development of the image sensing and perception subsystem of a lunar rover. My work included:
Generating depth maps through block-matching and semi-global matching of stereo images using computer vision libraries on python.
Terrain slope estimation and generating point clouds of the terrain using several consecutive stereo images.
Studying the effect of camera baseline and camera angle on the terrain reconstruction on a simulated terrain on Gazebo.
Constructing a design report with more than 80 pages.
